I decieded it was time to update my look and treat myself to a new "do". So I went with Pam to the salon where she gets her hair done and has always been happy with anything there.

I have to say that I quite like my new style and colour. Just hoping that I can replicate the style myself!

May 26, Day 146 - Bye Bye Bulldogs
Despite a nice crowd showing up for Game 7 of the Western Conference finals, the Hamilton Bulldogs are done for the summer. What a great run!A lineup to buy tickets which streched around the front of the arena.
This is how many people should be at a regular season game.

May 25, Day 145 - Baseball
Zach had his first softball practice and loved every minute of it. He couldn't even pick out his favourite drill. It was a warm night and when it was done his hair was stuck to his forehead and dripping with sweat!

May 24, Day 144 - Backyard pool
Aaron got the pool out for the kids today which was a really great idea. They had a great time jumping into it and sometimes even falling over the side!
May 23, Day 143 - Victoria Day Celebrations
My parents had our annual May 24th bonfire and fireworks (courtesy of my cousin). We all enjoyed hotdogs on the fire, marshmellows and smores, and a wide arrangement of drinks (both alcoholic and non)!
Just a sampling of the over 150 pictures I took today. I was trying to get a perfect picture of fireworks which is really hard to do. Kelly taught me the basics of shooting in "Manual" mode on my camera. I'm starting to feel like a real photographer!

May 22, Day 142 - Build-A-Bear
Lexi received a gift card for Build-A-Bear for her birthday in April from Uncle Ryan, Aunt Jess and Isaac. We finally got around to getting to the mall for her to pick what she wanted. She ended up with a pink bear that is so soft and cuddly. We helped her pick its name - Nicole, which is Lexi's middle name.
May 22, Day 141 - Hike & Teddy Bear Picnic
Zach's class went on a hike around the soccer park that is behind his school after which they had a Teddy Bear picnic on the front lawn of the school.
May 20, Day 140 - Bluebird
Zach spotted this Bluebird on Tuesday while we were BBQing supper. It stuck around long enough for me to grab my camera and take it's picture.
May 19, Day 139 - A Game of Baseball
We have Zach signed up to play softball this year instead of soccer. He is all about playing a game of baseball when he is outside. He was able to talk Grandpa into a game this afternoon. Lexi joined in when she wanted to.
May 18, Day 138 - Sheep
Every time I drive back the side road near our house for the last month or so I've seen these sheep out in pasture. Most times I haven't had my camera with me or they weren't out. My family has a rich history in Leicester sheep.
May 17, Day 137 - Rockee
Maybe I should retitle this blog 182.5 days as I seem to miss at least every other day.
Here's another good pic from yesterday of our dog, Rockee. She was hunting in the field behind our place.

May 16, Day 136 - An Evening at home
After helping hand out the Ticat tickets at their pick up party, I managed to catch the last period of the Bulldogs victory over Texas. We then went for supper at Jack Astor's and then home for a little time outside. The kids helped me pick a bouquet of my favourite flowers, Lily of the Valley and then played a little game of soccer with Dad.
May 15, Day 135 - Park in the City
On our way home from Poppa and Grandma City's house, where the kids and I had a sleep over, we stopped at the park around the corner from their house. An hour and a bit later I had to drag the kids to the car!Lexi loves her swing and always wants more "under doggies".
I swear Zach spent half the time in this chair spinning himself around, not quite sure how he didn't get dizzy!
