Lexi's 4th Birthday Party

Since Lexi's birthday falls on a Tuesday this year, we held her party on Saturday so that everyone could come. She finally let me change her earrings to something other than the studs she has been wearing since June, although it did take a little help from Dad to get it done. She also wanted to wear a pretty dress for her party.

Zach's Last Day of Tyke Hockey

Yesterday was the last day of hockey for this season. They played 2 mini-games (half hour each) as opposed to the 50 minute games they had done all season. Zach scored the first 2 goals of the first game which they won 4-0 over the Penguins. Zach was held goal-less for the last game, which I believe is the first time all year that he hasn't scored a goal in a game.

Kevin Rupert refereed the games today. Zach taking the face-off.

Zach and his buddy, MacGregor taking defence. Although, Zach didn't stay there for the game. He went back to being a forward.

Taking a shot....

Coach Dennis was really on the ball and got the team to do one last picture on the ice after the final game. Zach is front row, 2nd from the right.

Tooth Fairy Visits Again

Zach lost another tooth at school on Friday. I think he worked really hard to get this one to come out as it was only a little bit loose on Wednesday. He's starting to really look like a hockey player now, with the hole at the front of his mouth!

Spring- like weather

Enjoying the nice weather. Zach and Lexi got out their bikes and played outside for a bit on Friday. We had quite the busy March Break this year and it's nice that Zach is back at school today (even if we missed the bus this morning!).

Disney On Ice - March 17th

I surprised Zach and Lexi with tickets to see Disney On Ice "Let's Celebrate" at Copps Coliseum. They enjoyed the show very much. Lexi loved all the princesses (especially Beauty) and Tinkerbell. Zach was really excited about the Toy Story characters. Here's just a few pictures from the show.

Waiting for the show to start
